better salary or better life

it was all started with a ym status asked about which one i prefer, better salary or better life.
since i stayed at jakarta, if you talked about life, they always refer to fascinating thing called "money".
i won't be naif about money, it's true that with a bundle of money, you can make a better living.
i did't said that it will bring you a happier live after wealth but it signs you a quarantee for that.
take an example, myself, what do you expect from a web developer's salary.
i'm quite happy with my present job, since i've antique colleage n lots funny stuff to learn each day.
life has never been this happy at work where you can wear any rubber "swalllow" shoes to your office, use any slang languages when you talk to your boss, go to whatever seminar or workshop within office hour and collaborate with my colleage in writing any article. i love this office.
i do really put a huge expectation it will raise me to higher level at my boss sight ( so he is willing to raised my salary) or perhaps, any other reader will asked me to do some projects.
one thing i realized after for months i've seeked for my dream house near the city. damn, it was all about money. perhaps i should try abroad or seek for higher archievement for a better salary to effort these house.
i understand this very clear, if i keep standing in this position, it won't do me any better life.
fighting myself for a difficult path to choose, better salary or better life.
