great holiday ? dunno lah
holiday supposed to be great but i got no plan of how to kill the time.
i started with clean up my room and re-arranged few items, i even forgot when the last time i got my room mopped and tidied up.
we quickly decided to have BBQ at my friend's house after heard good news that he will be left alone for the whole week.kekeke....few hours of phone-calling and ice breaking, we suddently succeed to gather some friends who r actually "donno-how-to-spent-holiday.com" or "too-lazy-to-do-anything-at-holiday.net"
almost shocked at the cashier when we went shopping to prepare the baking-baked-stuff, OMG i never thought holiday would spend me more then daily.
the burn-burn (baca:bakar2) thing was great but i think we lost what i called "togertherness" (baca : kebersamaan) since everyone looks so starving that will only safe his/her parts from fire or over-roasted.
anyway, since we never really plan this well, i think we miscalculate the foods and people.
The next day, woke up with bit sore-throat, i just spend another day doing lazy things which is the most enjoyable moment for the whole holiday that is watching tv and dvd at my lazy air-bed. and the day last too fast that i even didn't remember what day is today.
we tried to do some badminton exercise to burn the fat-stomach before then end up with seafood dinner at kali mati, pademangan. again, i failed my diet.
another few days hibernation the day has com, yesterday, i really enjoy all the way to office since jakarta's traffic is just great. i break my own record which only took 15" to office.
After a week off from cozy n lousy activities since my laptop down for emergency help, all i do just browsing and downloading mp3, checking emails for thousand of selling viagras, hundred of offering lottre winner and only a few i can recognised as "email".
i read an article about "doing great thing with great" which give me a bit courage to finish my work. within the article, the writer write some ridiculous comment that i think he just judge any profession from his own perfect world.
dude, i tell you something, ur boss will never raise ur salary if u tell him u have just married and u need more money to survived ur family.
salary u earn is award for what u did in ur professional work not from ur expense.
be realistic, the right things is how to safe more money without making any extreme changes.
1 thing i believe from old quote "banyak jalan menuju roma", u might not probably get higher salary but u need to change ur life style, ur habit in spending money in order to save more money in ur bank account.
live simple is not a sin, be economist is not a bad things.
from my 2 year experience in development, people more appreciate from what u did and create, not from title written after ur name.
self-esteem is just courage to path ur way to another greater bird to catch.
